Job summary

A healthcare organization in Alberta is seeking a Mental Health Aide to provide support for clients and families facing addiction and mental health challenges. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to promote well-being and independence in community settings. Ideal candidates will have completed Grade 12 and possess effective communication skills. Experience with the Child and Youth Population is preferred, along with skills in conflict resolution and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience with the Child and Youth Population within the last four years.
• Experience in non-violent crisis intervention is preferred.
• Mental Health First Aid is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group support to clients and families in addiction and mental health services.
• Support clients in community settings to promote social, physical, and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively.
