Job summary

Conexus is seeking a Financial Advisor, Lending in Regina to understand members’ financial goals and support their achievement through lending products and advisory services. You will specialize in consumer lending while delivering proactive member experiences.

You will build relationships, educate members on products, and coordinate with experts to ensure satisfaction and growth of member relationships. Applicants with 2–3 years in finance and underwriting experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of Financial Industry experience in an advisory capacity.
• Experience in underwriting and approving credit applications.
• Experience in a sales position is considered an asset.
• Completion of or working towards the Financial Planner and Personal Financial Services Advice designations.

Responsibilities

• Identify members’ financial goals and provide advice and solutions to help achieve them through introductory financial planning.
• Offer and fulfill lending products within scope (lines of credit, complex consumer lending, credit cards, safety deposit boxes, mobile banking, day-to-day banking).
• Conduct proactive outreach to educate members and prospective members about products and services.
• Increase retention and expansion of member relationships by referrals to subject matter experts and follow-up.
