Member Advisor

We are looking for a Member Advisor to join our team. This position is integral to the function of our organization playing a critical role in our member service team. Candidates have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong ability to provide knowledgeable and timely advice and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service by effectively utilizing our products, services, and omni channels to meet our members’ needs.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact and the first point of resolution.
  • Respond to members’ inquiries by providing advice and guidance on the full range of financial products and services.
  • Promote and sell cash and non‑cash related products and services.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio through strong advice and utilization of available Credit Union products and services.
  • Utilize digital solutions to create efficiencies, simplify members’ banking needs, and enhance the member experience.
  • Must have the ability to travel to and cover regionally (up to 200 km) as required.

Innovations Travel Practice Guidelines will be followed.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a high school diploma / GED.
  • A people person who possesses excellent communication skills.

  • Detail‑oriented and risk‑aware contributing to the safeguarding of our company’s assets and reputation.
  • Proficient in digital literacy including critical thinking, problem solving, and navigation using digital solutions.
  • Use and comfortability with a variety of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, Power BI).
