A medical service provider in Canada is seeking members for their ongoing Event Medical Team in Ontario. The role involves providing medical support at various events while maintaining a customer-oriented presence. Candidates must have relevant certifications and a willingness to engage with clients and colleagues. The position offers flexible scheduling, allowing for additional professional commitments. Applicants should be prepared for about 4 shifts a month across major markets in Ontario.

Whether your event is a marathon, cycling event, obstacle adventure course, music festival, concert, VIP speaker, stadium-based event, parade or civic celebration, we have the expertise. We are national leaders in event medical, first aid, health, and safety for mass gatherings. We bring extensive knowledge in risk management, emergency planning, traffic planning, event operations and medical direction.
WHO WE ARE:
Odyssey Medical is a nationally incorporated Canadian business specializing in Event Medical and Risk Management services. We deliver approximately 2500 days of simultaneous event coverage annually, supporting private and public clients as they host events ranging in size, scale and complexity. Backed by credentialed and fully insured multidisciplinary response teams, we administer front‑line patient care and programs across a range of events such as marathons, cycling races, obstacle and adventure courses, mass‑gathering concerts and festivals, stadium‑based events and community‑focused celebrations. We also support established venues such as nightclubs and film & TV sets with year‑round medical team coverage. Our Medical Direction and symptom relief program enables first responders, medics and advanced medical practitioners to provide efficient, discreet and exceptional care.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Odyssey Medical is actively seeking individuals to join our EVENT MEDICAL TEAM candidate pool in Ontario. This posting is ongoing and candidates will be reviewed periodically. Our typical hiring season is from February to April; however, we hire sporadically throughout the year. You also may apply to the MVP (volunteer) team to gain experience with us; we usually prioritize hiring from our MVPs before considering external applicants.
We take care of our PATIENTS by prioritizing risk‑matched care that serves as the primary response to any on‑location medical emergencies that may arise.
We take care of our CLIENTS by acting as an extension of their eyes and ears and projecting a welcoming yet alert presence while circulating within the event site and among participants.
We take care of our CREW by building a culture of mutual support, fostering effective communication and promoting team collaboration to ensure that our skills develop and align with the ever‑evolving needs of pre‑hospital care.

We are a 24/7 operation, offering a variety of shifts (day, night, weekend, etc.) for which you voluntarily sign up, depending on your availability and preferences.
We provide a flexible scheduling approach that allows individuals to maintain current professional commitments (i.e., another job, studies, etc.).
We provide shifts across major Ontario markets such as GTA, Niagara, Durham, Barrie, Muskoka/Kawarthas, Ottawa and Kingston.
