Position Summary

Dermtek Pharma Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven Medical Representative to oversee and grow relationships with dermatologists across Ontario. The successful candidate will promote our dermatology portfolio, provide clinical expertise, and support dermatologists in delivering optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dermatologists, clinic managers, and key opinion leaders across Ontario.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on Dermtek Pharma’s products, including clinical benefits, safety profiles, and treatment protocols.
  • Deliver scientific and technical support to dermatology clinics, including presentations, workshops, and educational sessions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, and sales teams to implement promotional strategies.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) within the territory.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, sales activities, and market insights in the company ACT system.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are an asset.
  • 2–5 years of pharmaceutical sales or medical representative experience, preferably in dermatology.
  • Strong knowledge of dermatological conditions, treatments, and the Ontario healthcare landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and travel extensively within Ontario.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ACT tools.
