Alberta Health Services in Wetaskiwin is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist I for casual/relief shifts in Diagnostic Imaging. You will perform general radiography, fluoroscopy and some CT, ensuring high-quality images for physicians and radiologists.
You’ll prepare patients, interpret requisitions, and help maintain imaging equipment. Required are an MRT diploma, ACMDTT registration or eligibility, and BCLS-HCP.
Opportunity to work in a busy rural site performing a variety of General Radiography, Fluoroscopy and some CT.
As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) I, you will perform a variety of standard technical radiological imaging examinations on patients for the purpose of disease and pathology diagnosis. You will interpret physician requisitions, prepare and assess patients for examination and produce high quality diagnostic images for Physician/Radiologist review, and assist with the care and maintenance of equipment. Your work may include a variety of procedures such as general and portable radiography, mobile and surgical suite examinations, as well as fluoroscopy where required.
