Radius Community Health & Healing is seeking a Medical Office Assistant for the Respite to Recovery program in Edmonton. You will perform reception, scheduling, data entry, and basic clinical support in collaboration with shelter partners.

The role requires a MOA certificate, experience with marginalized populations, CPR, and strong computer skills. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, assist nursing staff, and help coordinate transportation and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Medical Office Assistant certificate program.
• Experience working with marginalized populations.
• Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• General reception duties including greeting clients and answering phones.
• Maintain appointment schedules and coordinate transportation.
• Keep client demographics up to date and manage clerical tasks.
• Assist with data collection and statistics.
• Prepare invoices, scans, and mail documents.
• Assist nursing staff and work with shelter staff per policy.
