The Opportunity

We’re excited to welcome one full-time and one part-time Entry‑Level Medical Office Assistant / Receptionist to our team. In this role, you’ll provide friendly, efficient support for our patients while building your knowledge of medical office operations and ophthalmology. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, is motivated to learn, and thrives in a busy, fast‑paced clinical environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and assisting patients in person and by phone
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records
  • Verifying patient information and coordinating with clinical staff
  • Participating in ongoing training and coursework to strengthen medical and ophthalmology knowledge
Schedule
  • Full‑Time Position: Monday to Friday (approximately 40 hours per week)
  • Part‑Time Position: Must be available at minimum Mondays and Thursdays, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM; additional shifts may be offered based on clinic needs
What We’re Looking For
  • Completion of or enrollment in a Medical Office Assistant / Medical Administration program (asset, not required)
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to participate in structured training and coursework
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
  • Computer proficiency; EMR experience is an asset
