Our client is seeking a motivated and personable Medical Office Administrator to join their specialized clinic located in SE Calgary. Whether you’re a recent graduate with an MOA certificate or someone with more extensive administrative experience, we want to hear from you! This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, front-facing role and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care both in person and over the phone.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with a keen eye for detail. Experience with Accuro software is preferred, but not required. You’ll be working in a collaborative team environment, supporting both patients and front-facing staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for clients of all ages.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

  • Patient Reception:Greet and assist patients, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out.
  • Appointment Scheduling:Manage patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and confirmations.
  • Phone Management:Answer calls, direct inquiries, and address patient concerns.
  • Medical Records:Maintain accurate and updated patient records in compliance with privacy standards.
  • Billing & Insurance:Process billing, insurance claims, and payments, ensuring accuracy and follow-up.
  • Accuro Software:Use Accuro (or similar EMR) for scheduling, records, and reporting.
  • Clinic Coordination:Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth patient flow and clinic operations.
  • Patient Education:Provide basic info on procedures, office policies, and post-appointment care.
  • Inventory Management:Assist with managing office and medical supplies.
  • Multitasking:Prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail and patient care.
  • Team Collaboration:Work closely with staff to ensure efficient operations and quality care.

Education:

  • Completion of MOA certificate or similar is considered a strong asset.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Accuro software is considered an asset.

Experience:

  • 1+ years experience in an administrative role is required.
  • Previous experience in a medical clinic (or similar) is considered a strong asset.

Base Salary:$20-23 per hour

  • Salary based on experience

Work Hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Monday – Friday

Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
