Job description
Position Summary

Are you a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Laboratory department.

Reporting to the Chief Technologist, the incumbent performs routine lab procedures and may rotate through various disciplines (Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, and Anatomical Pathology).

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 07:00 to 15:00

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine laboratory procedures as assigned by the Chief Technologist.
  • Rotates through multiple disciplines (Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, Anatomical Pathology) as required.
  • Maintain quality control and assurance practices in the laboratory.
  • Adhere to safety, regulatory, and organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program; R.T. (General).
  • Eligible for certification from the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists.
