  • Job Summary

In a collaborative manner, the Medical Assistant will provide support to the Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients through a variety of tasks, including but not limited to patient care management, organization, and communication.

Job Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred; 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience within the last 3 years preferred; CPOE must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire if Medical Assistant Certification is not obtained upon hire; High school diploma or equivalent required.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct patient registration, verify insurance, process co-pays, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals.
  • Answer patient questions, prepare patients for examinations, conduct preliminary tests, and provide patient information to providers.
  • Stock supplies, maintain exam rooms and front desk, manage medical records, and perform other administrative duties.
  • Follow operating instructions for equipment, perform quality control, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including cashing out and securing the building.

  • Relevant work experience preferred.
