Job description

As a Media Supervisor, you are responsible for leading the planning, management, and execution of our client’s media strategy to maximize client business/marketing objectives. This person must have in-depth knowledge of all digital channels, including display, programmatic, video, mobile, social, OOH, and other emerging channels. This person will be a strategic leader both internally and in client presentations. This role will work closely with Marketing Science and Strategy to align media efforts to other marketing efforts. They will be responsible for owning the day-to-day client and key third-party vendor relationships. They will manage and distribute work across the associate planners, planners, and senior planners on the team.

You will:
  • Coordinate and oversee the management, trafficking, optimization, and reporting of all campaign initiatives.
  • Manage the billing team and provide final approval on all billing needs
  • Oversee and approve all media campaign set-up and execution, including working with other internal teams and clients to secure deliverables.
  • Provide strategic insights and optimizations for all client reports.
  • Research and prepare new information for paid media plans, RFPs, and presentations.
  • Evaluate, build and maintain relationships in the display and emerging media community.
  • Stay up to date on and advise the Media team on the latest trends in interactive marketing / media and developments.
  • Lead the development of “Point of View” (POV) documents on new trends or special opportunities.
  • Evaluate client needs and elevate issues as they arise to leadership
  • Drive audience insights and channel strategy
  • Sell in media initiatives to client
  • Integrate with neighbouring disciplines (MKS, Strategy, Creative) on overall campaign direction
You have:
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Media Associate and/or relevant role in Media
  • In-depth understanding of digital media campaign management and optimization practices
  • Proven to be a proactive self‑starter with experience leading large accounts within an agency in an integrated fashion (collaboration, data sharing, co‑leading efforts focused on client satisfaction, growth, performance vs KPI’s)
  • Proven experience in media planning, buying, or management, preferably in B2B sectors.
  • Strong expertise in video, display, YouTube, Amazon, and OOH media channels.
  • Experience negotiating partner‑direct sponsorships, content creation and 360‑degree activations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team, including delegation, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and optimize strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with media planning tools, analytics platforms, and reporting software.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
