Job summary
A Canadian aerospace company is seeking Mechatronics Engineering Interns to support the design and development of suborbital launch vehicle systems. Candidates will gain hands-on experience with mechanical and electromechanical assemblies, work directly with senior engineers, and participate in flights and test campaigns. Ideal applicants are engineering students or recent graduates with strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience in labs. Travel within Canada is required for launch site operations.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant Bachelor's degree.
Experience with prototyping hardware in the loop and real-time control systems.
Familiarity with TI Cortex and C2000 series MCUs.
Responsibilities
Support design and integration of launch vehicle systems.
Create and modify 3D CAD models under guidance.
Assist with functional testing of flight and ground hardware.
Skills
Hands-on skills with mechanical assembly
Familiarity with CAD design tools
Programming with LabVIEW or Python
Problem-solving attitude
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
