A leading manufacturing firm in Canada is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Planner to oversee the planning of maintenance work at its pulp and paper mill. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of supervisory or planning experience in heavy industry, strong communication skills, and proficiency in CMMS systems. Responsibilities include work order planning, scheduling shutdowns, and maintaining efficient job execution within a dynamic team environment.
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic team at the Irving Pulp & Paper Mill.
As a Mechanical Maintenance Planner, you will be involved in the planning of daily maintenance work, weekly scheduling activities, and planning and scheduling of shutdowns and events. You will work closely with the area Supervisor, tradespersons, Reliability Engineer, E&I and operations staff to ensure efficient job execution. You will be responsible for work order planning, administration and material management / procurement. You may also be required to support as area supervisor at times, and to supervise contractors on small projects.
