We currently have exciting opportunities within our Pulp & Paper Division operations for Mechanical Engineering Students to join our teams in Saint John and Lake Utopia, New Brunswick, for the Winter 2026 Work Term.

Responsibilities
  • Project concept development and preliminary design assignments.
  • Assignments related to the development of project funding applications and justifications.
  • Participation in the management of construction contracts and the requisitioning of materials and services.
  • Project construction, commissioning, and start‑up support activities.
  • Working with contractors and mill personnel to determine the scope, planning, and execution of work packages for equipment maintenance and mill projects.
  • Working with the reliability team to perform root‑cause failure analysis on mill equipment, as well as reviewing and optimizing the preventive maintenance program.
