Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking an Assembly Technician on a contract basis in Bolton, Ontario. You will assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts into complete machines, following engineering drawings and quality guidelines.

This temporary role covers up to 6 months, with a 40-hour work week and overtime eligibility. Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or related certificate and 4–7 years manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or related trade certificate.
• 4–7 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient with basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install machine parts per drawings and schematics.
• Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings and diagrams.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to assemble components.
• Operate cranes, hoists, and forklifts to position components safely.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and BOM compliance.
• Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
