Many assignments involve multi‑location programs, giving you exposure to national standards and coordination challenges that go beyond single‑site work.

Your Impact
  • Design mechanical systems for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Deliver accurate heating and cooling load calculations, select equipment, and develop ductwork, piping, and sprinkler layouts.
  • Apply codes and standards such as OBC, ASHRAE, and NFPA to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Support construction administration through RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and site visits.
  • Collaborate with electrical designers and other disciplines to create integrated solutions that meet client needs.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • 3–7 years of experience in mechanical design for building systems.
  • Proficiency in Revit (mandatory) and HVAC calculation tools such as HAP.
  • Solid understanding of OBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and related standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable diploma; EIT/P.Eng. or CET designation is an asset.
