Join our Mechanical Buildings group in Vancouver as a Mechanical Designer, where you'll contribute to designing building systems that shape communities. From fire protection and plumbing to HVAC and specialty systems, your work will help deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions.

Your Impact
  • Design and layout HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using sound engineering judgment.
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications for tender and construction phases.
  • Assist with site investigations and provide technical support during installation.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
  • Support project managers and senior engineers with documentation and coordination.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Degree in Engineering or Applied Science with eligibility for P.Eng., or college diploma with ASTTBC registration eligibility.
  • 1+ year of experience in mechanical building systems design (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
  • Familiarity with REVIT and building load calculation software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial, healthcare, industrial, or educational projects.
Compensation
  • BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $66,700 - $88,400
  • MB & ON: $60,900 - $83,800
  • Atlantic Provinces & QC: $60,300 - $80,000
