Job summary

Siemens AG in North Carolina is seeking a Mechanical Assembler III to join the LV/MV assembly integration team in Knightdale. The role focuses on assembling steel components and sub-assemblies, reading BOMs, and following assembly drawings to deliver quality builds.

You will operate torque wrenches, ensure adherence to developed processes, and collaborate with a strong team to meet production goals while complying with safety policies. Strong hands-on skills and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly.
3+ years of experience with standard hand and power tools.
Knowledge of torque wrench and torque values.
Experience with tape measures and other measuring devices.
Able to identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assemble sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket orders per layouts and drawings.
Record job transactions and read BOMs to ensure correct assembly.
Set and use torque wrenches per process instructions to maintain quality.
Follow environmental and health & safety policies and participate in continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers III for our LV/MV assembly Integration team. This position will be based in Knightdale NC.

Shift Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Hourly Rate:

Level III: $22.46

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field.
3+ years of experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery operated
Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values
Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices
Able to Identify mechanical parts and electrical components
Ability to occasionally lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.
Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
