Job description

I'm Jérémy Dupeuble, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, specializing in technical and manufacturing roles. I'm looking for a skilled Structural Engineer who wants to contribute to innovative projects in the steel storage solution industry.

Responsibilities
  • Select and optimize products to meet clients' unique requirements.
  • Perform structural analyses and material strength calculations.
  • Oversee new product design and ensure all technical specifications meet quality standards.
  • Work closely with the sales department and provide technical training to representatives.
  • Review technical sections of tenders and occasionally produce bid drawings.
  • Provide technical support to sales when required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Building / Construction Engineering (structural profile) or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) - required.
  • Familiarity with S16 and CNBC design standards.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D (asset) and SolidWorks 3D (asset).
  • Experience with Advance Design America or other structural analysis software (asset).
  • Functional English proficiency.
  • Self motivated, detail oriented, and customer focused.
