Canadian Linen and Uniform Services Company is looking for a maintenance mechanic to join our team as a Full-Time employee.

Job Description
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing routine preventive and corrective maintenance requirements including cleaning and lubrication on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
  • Work closely with current Maintenance team members to gain knowledge of our equipment
  • Perform simple troubleshooting of equipment and carries out all maintenance activities.
  • Operate power tools and machine shop machinery (saws, drills, milling machines, welders)
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • On problems with higher complexity, consults with supervisor and/or peer mechanics and getting guidance/ instructions from them, in order to fix problems.
  • Dismantle machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Re-assemble and test after repair.
Job Requirements
  • 5th class steam ticket or working towards it.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Experience in similar positions in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Compensation

The hourly rate that Canadian Linen and Uniform Service reasonably expects to pay for this position range is $33.94 and $38.44 (for a class 5th steam ticket) depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
