Job summary

Radius Recycling Industries, Inc. is seeking a non-union Mechanic II to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heavy mobile equipment, heavy trucks, and industrial machinery. You will identify root causes, complete repairs, and sustain equipment reliability while ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are met.

This role also serves as a resource to developing mechanics. The position operates under flexible parameters with the goal of delivering the highest

Qualifications

• 3–4 years diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment or related systems.
• Equivalent combination of education, technical training, military experience, or certifications considered.
• Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment failures and determine corrective actions.
• Perform advanced mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical repairs.
• Complete preventive and corrective maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Provide informal guidance to developing mechanics.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
