Licensed Electrician

This vacancy is for a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule position. The Electrician assumes overall responsibility for performing maintenance functions, including equipment installation and repairs, new construction, service, and preventative maintenance, equipment startup, and testing, renovating and restoring, troubleshooting equipment, etc. (on‑call and overtime availability).

What you will do:
  • Install and maintain electrical systems: Read and interpret blueprints to install electrical/electronic devices, conduits, and raceways; splice and terminate conductors.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment: Diagnose and resolve issues in low and medium voltage systems (up to 4160V); perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, motors, pumps, and fixtures.
  • Test and program control systems: Verify proper function of electrical/electronic equipment and program PLCs and related automation systems.
  • Ensure safety and compliance: Follow all safety standards (Arc Flash, LOTO, MCC safety), maintain accurate work records in SAP, and uphold 5S workplace organization.
  • Support team development: Mentor new employees on equipment start‑up procedures and best practices.
What you will bring:
  • Licensed Electrician Certification and good standing with the College of Trades.
  • Industrial experience (minimum 1 year) maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Technical skills in PLC programming; Foxboro experience is an asset.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and proficiency in interpreting data, drawings, and adapting to technological changes.
  • Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, overtime, and on‑call as needed in a continuous operation facility.
  • Good communication skills and capability to handle varying physical demands (temperature, posture, height).

This pay rate is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
