Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a skilled Mechanic for our Baie-Comeau, QC location. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and hydraulic systems both in the shop and on-site.

The candidate should read diagrams, follow plans, and use hand and power tools to ensure reliable operation. Ideal applicants have 5+ years of experience, a three-to-four-year apprenticeship, and a Québec industrial mechanic qualification.

Qualifications

• Three to four year apprenticeship is required.
• More than five years of field experience and specialized training in a school or industrial setting.
• Québec industrial mechanic qualification certificate is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Read diagrams and schematics to determine repair procedures.
• Install industrial machinery or hydraulic components per plans using hand and electric tools.
• Inspect and repair machinery and hydraulic components to resolve failures.
• Adjust machinery and replace defective parts.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain machines.

Applied Industrial Technologies est actuellement à la recherche d'une personne qualifiée et motivée pour occuper le poste de Mécanicien à notre emplacement de Baie Comeau, QC.

Objectif du poste :

Installer, entretenir et réparer de la machinerie industrielle ainsi que des composantes hydrauliques dans l'atelier et sur la route.

Rôles et responsabilités :

• Lire des diagrammes et des schémas pour déterminer la façon de procéder pour réparer des composantes
• Installer, en respectant les plans et à l’aide d’outils manuels et électriques, de la machinerie industrielle ou des composantes hydrauliques
• Inspecter et réparer de la machinerie et des composantes hydraulique pour résoudre leur défaillance
• Ajuster la machinerie et réparer ou remplacer les pièces défectueuses
• Nettoyer, lubrifier et assurer l’entretien des machines
• Établir la liste des pièces et équipements nécessaires
• Recevoir les pièces et équipements
• Assembler de la machinerie et des composantes hydrauliques, à l’aide d’outils manuels et électriques, avant de les installer.

Qualifications minimales :

• Un programme d’apprentissage de trois à quatre ans
• Plus de cinq ans d’expérience dans le métier et de formation spécialisée en milieu scolaire ou industriel
• Le certificat de qualification de mécanicien industriel est obligatoire au Québec.
