Responsibilities

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards: keep the meat department clean, organized, and properly zoned; rotate stock and remove expired or unsellable products.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing: ensure all merchandise is signed and priced; follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, and labeling.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices: adhere to safety standards including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper handling, rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration compliance.
• Prepare and Serve Deli Products: take orders and prepare meat, cheese, and fried chicken; use slicers and ovens safely to fill display cases and complete orders.
• Health and Safety Compliance: follow guidelines to maintain a safe, clean, hygienic environment.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): be open to working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
