Job summary

Quality Foods in Nanaimo, BC, is looking for a Meat Cutter to join the Harewood store team. You will cut, merchandise, wrap and package a variety of meat, fish, seafood and poultry while engaging customers to ensure a quality shopping experience.

The role includes varied shifts—mornings, evenings and weekends—and offers a Top benefit package after the waiting period, advancement opportunities, a pension plan, grocery rebate and weekly paydays.

Qualifications

• Meat cutting and merchandising experience.
• Customer service mindset and ability to interact with shoppers.
• Ability to wrap and package meat, fish, seafood and poultry.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include cutting and merchandising as well as wrapping, and packaging varieties of meat, fish, seafood and poultry. You will also be expected to interact with customers in order to provide them with a quality shopping experience! Other general duties as required. This position includes varied shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Compensation

IND8 Compensation Details: $18.50 - $24.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
