Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Edmonton, AB is hiring a Meat Clerk for 8-20 hours per week with open evening and weekend availability. You will help customers, stock the department, keep products fresh, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Ideal candidates have a passion for great food and customer service, a strong work ethic, integrity, and a team-oriented attitude. Retail experience is a plus; training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and positive attitude.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

We are hiring for a Meat Clerk at our Strathcona location in Edmonton, AB.

8-20 hours per week.

Open evening and weekend availability is preferred.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
