Sobeys Inc. is hiring Meat Production Clerks to directly interact with customers and prepare high-quality meat cuts. You will greet customers, answer questions, and assist with stocking and maintaining displays in a fast-paced retail environment.

Our role emphasizes teamwork, quick learning, and adherence to company standards. Experience in meat cutting is preferred, and training is provided to ensure excellent product knowledge and service across Sobeys banners.

Qualifications

• Strong preference will be given to candidates with previous Retail Meat Cutting experience
• Knowledgeable of various cuts of meat
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Highly motivated and team oriented

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
• Cut and prepare meat products for display using knives and saws
• Stocking various meat products to shelves
• Maintaining and building merchandise displays in compliance with company programs
• Use of commercial power equipment
• Order writing
• Receiving and rotating product
• Filling product showcases
• Cleaning and sanitizing of work area
