Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Red Deer, AB is hiring a Meat Clerk to join our East Hill Centre team. You will help customers, share product knowledge, keep the meat department well stocked, and ensure only the freshest products are displayed.

Open evening and weekend availability is preferred. You will also handle inquiries, maintain a clean and sanitary work area, and use knives and equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Passion for great food and customer service.
• Retail customer service experience is a plus.
• Willingness to go the extra mile.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain department presentation and stock levels.
• Ensure freshest products are on display.
• Answer customer questions and resolve inquiries.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work area and equipment.
• Use knives and other meat-cutting equipment safely.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
