Responsibilities

• Maintain Department Organisation and Standards: keep the meat department clean, organized, and properly zoned; rotate stock and remove expired or unsellable products.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing: verify merchandise is signed and priced; follow procedures for ordering, clearance, signings, and labeling.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices: adhere to food safety standards, temperature checks, proper handling, and date compliance.
• Prepare and Serve Deli Products: take orders and prepare deli items (meat, cheese, fried chicken) using slicers and appliances.
• Health and Safety Compliance: follow health and safety guidelines and company policies for a safe workplace.
• Flexibility: be open to evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed by the business.
