A leading research institution in Alberta is inviting applications for a three-year fellowships in theoretical astroparticle physics. Successful candidates will work closely with Prof. Nassim Bozorgnia. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in theoretical physics and demonstrate research excellence. The position starts in Fall 2026 with a priority application deadline of November 10, 2025. Applications continue to be accepted until December 1, 2025.
The Department of Physics and the Theoretical Physics Institute at the University of Alberta are inviting applications for the McDonald Institute (MI) and MI-CITA Theory Fellowships in the field of theoretical astroparticle physics and dark matter phenomenology, to work with Prof. Nassim Bozorgnia. Candidates with interests and/or experience in dark matter physics are especially encouraged to apply. Top-ranked applications will be sent to the MI and/or MI-CITA Theory Evaluation committees, who will allocate fellowships. First round offers will be made in December.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in theoretical physics and a record of research excellence. The position is for three years, beginning in Fall 2026.
