The Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM) and the Institut des sciences mathématiques (ISM) are pleased to announce the creation of postdoctoral positions for early career mathematical scientists for the academic year 2026.
The CRM-ISM postdoctoral fellowships are awarded to promising researchers who have recently obtained or expect to obtain a PhD in the mathematical sciences. This is a research fellowship allowing the recipient to devote most of their time to research under the supervision of a professor from one of the CRM and ISM member universities. If fellows wish to teach, they may request to be offered teaching assignments for which they will receive an additional salary. To be eligible for a CRM-ISM postdoctoral fellowship, researchers must have obtained a PhD after May 1, 2023.
The CRM is proud to subscribe to all its affiliate universities policy on adapting to cultural diversity and is committed to taking into account the diversity and the systemic and individual barriers to access (for example, related to ethnic origin, gender, disability) when selecting visiting researchers.
