Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience coaching, training, and developing employees.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Ability to delegate effectively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Leading day-to-day shipping, receiving, material handling, and warehousing operations.
  • Planning and coordinating inventory, purchasing, production support, and material requirements.
  • Managing and developing materials personnel through coaching, training, delegation, and performance feedback.
  • Monitoring inventory and material availability to help ensure production requirements are met.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve material flow, inventory accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
  • Developing and monitoring key performance indicators for materials operations.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective materials management procedures.
  • Working with other departments to address material requirements, priorities, and challenges.
  • Investigating materials-related incidents and contributing to improvements in workplace safety.
  • Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and other administrative requirements.
  • Ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

The Role
