Qualifications

  • MSc or PhD in Material Science, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 3–8+ years in pharma, biotech, cosmetics, or injectable/aesthetic products.
  • Strong expertise in material characterization and analytical techniques.
  • Deep understanding of material interactions and applied science (not theoretical-only).
  • Hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent technical writing and presentation abilities.
  • Applied material science in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, aesthetics, cosmetics).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and characterize materials and their chemical composition and behavior.
  • Understand interactions between raw materials and packaging (tubes, bottles, etc.).
  • Assess how supplier differences impact material performance and product quality.
  • Investigate material-related issues and drive practical, science-based solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Product Science, MS&T, and Quality.
  • Translate complex findings into clear technical documentation and presentations.
