Job summary

Kenroc Building Materials Co. Ltd. is seeking a Material Handler to support delivery drivers and help ensure safe, damage-free deliveries across our Western Canada locations. We offer a strong safety culture, competitive wages, and an emphasis on professional development.

Reporting to the Operational Leader, you will operate equipment when licensed, assist with loading and unloading, and communicate effectively with the delivery team and customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• GED (Grade 12) and at least one year of heavy lifting experience required.
• Class 5 driver's license is an asset, proof required prior to operating a Company Class 5 vehicle.
• Fall restraint and/or Customer Service training is an asset.
• Repetitively lift up to 110 lbs.
• Possess the ability to communicate effectively with the delivery team, vendors and customers.
• Work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a respectful and ethical manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist Company delivery drivers in making safe and damage-free deliveries.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and conveyors when licensed and trained.
• Support loading/unloading in a fast-paced setting.
• Safely use delivery tools and equipment.
• Complete internal safety documentation with attention to detail.
• Take direction well and work as part of a team.
