Job summary

ATCO Structures in Grimsby, Ontario, is seeking a Material Handler (Forklift Operator) to support our modular building manufacturing facility. You will organize materials, operate forklifts to unload shipments, and process receiving paperwork to ensure accurate inventory.

This full-time, Monday–Friday position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and on-time delivery. Experience with ERP software and prior supervisory experience in warehouse/manufacturing are assets in contributing to a high-paced,

Qualifications

• Certified Forklift Operator with 3–5 years in forklift operation and material handling.
• Shift from 6:30 am to 3 pm EST, Monday to Friday.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety as a top priority.
• Construction industry experience is an asset.
• Supervisory experience in warehouse/manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of material receiving processes and cycle counts.
• Comfortable using ERP and other relevant software.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment and deliver safe, timely results.

Responsibilities

As a Material Handler (Forklift Operator), you will be responsible for assisting with Material Handling activities within our Grimsby Manufacturing facility, where we design and build modular buildings. This is a full time, permanent, role.

Job Responsibilities

• Accountable for the organization of assigned areas and materials.
• Operate Forklift and to unload incoming shipments from transport trailers.
• Process receiving paperwork such as packing slips and bill of lading.
• Deliver materials to workstations and storage locations.
• Complete inventory consumption on all inventory transactions relocations.
• Assist with garbage and recycling removal process.
• Support the Production team with line moves as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Certified Forklift Operator with at least 3-5 years of experience in operating a forklift and material handling experience.
• Ability to work scheduled shift from 6:30 am to 3 pm EST, Monday to Friday.
• A demonstrated commitment to safety, it is your top priority.
• Construction industry experience would be considered an asset.
• Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with material receiving processes and cycle counts.
