Job summary

CuBE Packaging is seeking qualified Material Handlers to join our team. Candidates must be able to work 12-hour rotating continental shifts, handle materials with equipment, and assist with production needs.

Ideal candidates will have a Grade 12 education, forklift certification, and experience in material handling. The position offers benefits following a probationary period, including health coverage and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift certification (propane and/or electric) with a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Experience in warehousing and/or manufacturing is required.
• Ability to maneuver in tight spaces and differentiate between colors.

Responsibilities

• Move products and materials using a counter-balance forklift.
• Assist in coverage for breaks as required.
• Housekeeping activities according to the Cube Management System.

Job description

CuBE Packaging is seeking qualified Material Handlers to join our team. Qualified candidates must be able to work 12-hour rotating continental shifts.

Responsible for:

• Moving products and material using a counter-balance forklift

• Using an RF Scanner

• Move all plastic totes to the WIP area

• Print tickets for totes in ERP system as required

• Assist in coverage for breaks as required

• Assist set-up techs to expedite tooling changes and learn the process

• Grinding of scrap material

• Housekeeping activities

• Following and complying with Cube Management System (CMS)

Requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent

• Must have forklift certification (propane and/or electric) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in material handling

• Basic math and attention to detail

• Being able to maneuver in tight spaces

• Must be able to differentiate between colors and their shades

• Must have basic computer skills

• ERP or SAP experience an asset

• Must have warehousing and or manufacturing experience

• Shipping and receiving experience an asset

  • Extended dental, health and vision coverage upon completion of 3 month probationary period.
