Job summary

A global modular design leader in Kamloops is seeking a Material Handler responsible for organizing materials and assisting with manufacturing operations. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for assisting with Material Handling activities within our Kamloops Manufacturing facility, where we design and build modular buildings.

Job Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the organization of assigned areas and materials.
  • Operate Forklift and unload incoming shipments from transport trailers.
  • Process receiving paperwork such as packing slips and bill of lading.
  • Deliver materials to workstations and storage locations.
  • Complete inventory consumption on all inventory transactions relocations.
  • Assist with garbage and recycling removal processes.
  • Support the Production team with line moves as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A Certified Forklift Operator.
  • 2+ years of previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with material receiving processes and cycle counts.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment and deliver results on time.
  • Comfortable using ERP and any other relevant software.
