Job summary

Arrow Off Road Guelph is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support production by operating forklifts, moving parts, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. You will handle materials, assist with interdepartment transfers, and ensure compliance with safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role offers afternoon shift with competitive hourly compensation and a benefits package. Prior forklift experience and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of warehouse and lift truck experience.
  • Strong forklift operating skills with safety focus.
  • Able to operate various forklift types (sit-down/stand-up).
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while operating equipment per procedures.
  • Move parts and materials across departments to support production.
  • Handle and dispose of scrap material and containers.
  • Deliver materials to workstations for processing.
  • Pre-stage and prepare parts for movement around the facility.
  • Transport processed parts to appropriate areas.
  • Supply workstations with packaging for processed materials.
  • Inspect forklift daily and report safety concerns.

Afternoon shift: 3:00 pm-11:00 pm Monday-Friday

Compensation Range:$23.14 up to $30.38 hourly

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area while operating equipment according to established procedures.
  • Movement of parts, products, and raw materials throughout the various manufacturing departments to support production needs.
  • Movement and emptying of garbage, scrap material,s and scrap material containers.
  • Bring material for processing to the workstations.
  • Manually prepare parts, products, and raw materials for movement around the facility or interplant transfer. - pile, sort, stack, tie-down.
  • Take processed parts from the workstations to the appropriate areas.
  • Supply workstations with skids, boxes, or packaging for materials that have been processed.
  • Empty garbage containers throughout the plant.
  • Empty steel chip containers as required
  • Keep the warehouse safe and orderly.
  • Inspect and report daily any problems with the forklift to the materials manager.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, equipment maintenance, and housekeeping policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as required.

Educational Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
  • Two years of warehouse worker and lift truck operator experience

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of safe forklift operation practices.
  • Ability to operate various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, etc.)
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain safety.
  • Great communication skills and teamwork.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (ex, noisy, cold, heat)
  • Able to use jib cranes and related lifting attachments, and handheld equipment that may be necessary to the job
  • Use of hand tools, such as staple guns, may need to be needed for
