A leading aerospace company in Ontario, Canada is seeking a Material Handler responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong organizational skills, and at least 3 years of related experience. The role involves following safety protocols and ensuring cleanliness. Job overview: The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role ensures production lines are supplied with the correct materials in a timely manner and adheres to strict aerospace quality and safety standards.
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role ensures production lines are supplied with the correct materials in a timely manner and adheres to strict aerospace quality and safety standards.
Transport materials and parts between storage areas, production lines and workstations. Responsible for general cleanliness of machine shop and coolant control. Actively be involved in Health, Safety and Environment initiatives. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE in a manufacturing environment.

Skills and Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills; must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Education and/or Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of related experience, preferably operating lift trucks.
Specialized Knowledge: Forklift/Tow Motor license is an asset. Previous experience with coolant control is an asset.
Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 40 pounds and carrying boxes. Ability to maneuver around the facility, including stairs and confined spaces.
