Job summary

Mitsui High-tec (Canada), Inc. in Brantford is seeking a Material Handler to join our team. The position offers a permanent role with a focus on safe, efficient material movement, crane operation, forklift use, and 5S practices.

You will move coils and parts across production areas, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and collaborate with a skilled manufacturing team in a growth‑oriented environment. Training and career advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required (2+ years preferred).
• Overhead crane experience preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• 5S & Kaizen familiarity preferred.
• Attention to detail in all areas of work.
• Able to multi-task and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate an overhead crane to load coil into a press.
• Off loading and transferring parts.
• Move freight and stock to production areas using equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
• Maintain 5S.
• Other duties, as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate an overhead crane to load coil into a press
• Off loading and transferring parts
• Move freight & stock to production areas either manually or using equipment such as forklifts and cranes
• Maintain 5S
• Other duties, as required

Qualifications

• Previous Forklift experience required (preferably 2+ years dockstocker/standup/reach)
• Overhead Crane experience preferred
• Experience working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and experience with 5S & Kaizen systems preferred but not mandatory
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
• Must be able to take direction comfortably, able to multi‑task, managing time efficiently to obtain optimum results
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination required
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
