Job Responsibilities

COMPENSATION: $26.48/hr

• Maintaining inventory to facilitate FIFO usage;
• Perform material/line changes as required to meet production schedule;
• Inventory for supply parts ordering purposes;
• Maintain all safety/emergency access routes;
• Control and properly store all packaging material;
• Take ownership of the plant floor plan and ensure it is being followed;
• Ensure all product is properly labeled prior to moving it to the next operation;
• Make suggestions to support continuous improvement;
• Implement and drive Autosystems TPS system;
• Completion of pre-shift Forklift Operator daily checklist
• Ensure that environmental standards are identified, communicated, and enforced within the department.
• Ensure all safety and environmental rules and regulations are followed.
• Ensure adherence to established quality and housekeeping standards.
• Review and adhere to division health and safety, environmental, and quality standards, operating procedures, and policies.
• Respond immediately to items brought to his/her attention with respect to hazards, defects, or non-compliance issues.
• Understand and uphold the policies that prohibit workplace violence and harassment.
• In addition to the above, the duties include those specified under the Occupational Health & Safety Ac.
