Job summary

MTU in Delta, BC is seeking a Material Controller to manage inventory and ensure timely material flow to production and the accessory shop.

You will handle shipping, receiving, kitting, issuing parts, and stock returns, operate forklift, and maintain documentation while collaborating with internal and external contacts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5/7).
• Forklift certification and ability to operate forklift.
• Proficient with ECMS, SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods shipping, WHMIS and related MSDS documentation.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Shipping of modules, shadow boxes, piece-parts and goods to vendors.
• Pre-receiving and receiving of materials and updating files.
• Kitting of hardware for modules per schedule.
• Parts issuing and inventory monitoring to support production and shop.
• Monitor priorities and ensure in-time material supply to production lines.
• Manage material return to stock and related documentation.
• Truck driving and transport as directed; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Execute marshalling and push-outs per schedule.
• General warehousing and inventory counting as required.
• Undertake other projects and duties as required.
