As a Master Data Operator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining essential master data related to our manufacturing operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate and efficient production processes, directly impacting our success.
Shift : Monday through Friday Day Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Compensation : $35 / hour
Responsibilities :
- Routings Management : Gather all vital information for routings, including header material, work centers, and operational values required for material production.
- Manage Production Resource Tools (PRTs), Bill of Materials (BOM), Engineering Change Master (ECM): Build, change, and manage PRTs, BOMs, ECMs, ensuring they are mapped and updated for all operational activities.
- Ensure ECM captures master data changes for accessible history.
- Combine header material BOM with routing in production versions.
- Identify costed production versions for finance and scheduling purposes.
- Update work centers for manufacturing and finance purposes.
- Help complete the master data management strategy, aligning with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Implement master data standards, processes, and governance models to maintain data integrity.
- Participate in regular data quality reviews, implementing corrective actions to improve accuracy and reduce inconsistencies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing data-related workflows and system functionalities.
- Assist with planning and completing data migration projects, following data standards and quality benchmarks.
- Serve as a point of contact for master data-related inquiries, supporting resolution efforts and maintaining clear communication with collaborators.
Requirements :
- Post-secondary education.
- Experience in change management processes related to data management initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to data-related issues.
- Proven experience in managing master data within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
