A recognized educational institution in Hamilton is seeking a Massage Therapy Technologist (Regular Part Time) to support students and faculty in the Massage Therapy program. This role involves assisting with skills assessments, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Ideal candidates have a minimum three-year education in Massage Therapy and current certification with CMTO. Status: Regular Part Time (Less than 12 Months)
Hours: Up to 24 hours/week
Home Campus: Fennell (fully on‑site and may include evenings/weekends and split shifts)
Rate of Pay: $20.56 per hour, plus 4% in lieu of vacation

Reporting to the Program Manager, Allied Health, the incumbent will provide support and assistance to the students and faculty of the Massage Therapy program labs, clinicals, outreach and associated services. This includes assisting faculty in assessing the skill levels of students and liaising with faculty to develop goals and strategies for learners translating in student success in massage therapy courses within the School of Health curriculum.
The incumbent assists faculty with the Massage Therapy related course physical assessments and practicing to professional levels required of the course outcomes in lab and clinical settings.
The position will maintain working order inventory and prescribed set up of massage therapy academic labs including in school and outreach clinical practice opportunities and facilities/placements involving other technologists in the division, for programming associated activities within the School of Health.
