Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of post-secondary education in Massage Therapy required.
  • Specialization in the related field of study required as regulated by the CMTO.
  • Current certification in good standing as a Registered Massage Therapist with CMTO.
  • Two years of experience in a registered massage therapy setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist faculty in massage therapy skills practice and assessments.
  • Coordinate class material to Learning Plans and demonstrate skills.
  • Record skill levels of massage therapy techniques of evaluated students.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures and operation manuals are up to date.
