Massage Therapist – Contractor

Job summary

A local healthcare provider in Canada is looking for part-time Massage Therapists to provide relaxation, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage. The role offers flexible hours, starting salary of $40/hour for non-registered practitioners and up to $90/hour for registered massage therapists. The ideal candidates should have prior massage experience and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. PPE and supplies will be provided.

• Must have previous experience in relaxation, deep tissue, or therapeutic massage.

• Experience with addiction and mental health populations is an asset.

Schedule: Mondays 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM and Thursdays 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Salary Or Wage: $40.00 to $90.00 per hour

Must haves:

• You have previous relaxation, deep tissue, and/or therapeutic massage experience
• You have previous experience working in a team environment (experience in integrated clinic is an asset)
• You are professional, reliable, and an excellent communicator with fellow co-workers
• You are a motivated individual who wants to collaborate with other practitioners to deliver high-quality, client-centered care.
• You have a deep degree of empathy and are able to easily communicate what this means
• You have knowledge and experience working with addiction and mental health populations (an asset)

List of Duties

• Provide relaxation, deep tissue, and/or therapeutic massage
• Sunshine Coast Health Centre (SCHC) and Georgia Strait Women’s Clinic (GSWC) offer residential treatment services for addictions, mental health, and occupational trauma in men and women. We are looking to expand our team of practitioners doing massage therapy.
• We are seeking Massage Therapists to join our Contractor base, with flexible hours that can include weekends. Electric massage table, electronic medical record access, and supplies are provided. PPE is also provided.
• Starting wage is $40.00/hour for non-registered practitioners and $90.00/hour for Registered Massage Therapists.
