Job summary

Air Canada Vacations is seeking a MarTech Operations Lead to drive operational excellence of our marketing technology ecosystem, focusing on the CDP capability and cross-channel journeys. You will collaborate with Marketing, Data, Operations and IT to enable secure, scalable use of the platform and guide best practices across teams.

You will champion governance, data hygiene and efficient workflows while training internal teams and overseeing day-to-day platform administration.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in marketing technology CDP operations or multi-channel marketing automation.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise marketing automation or CDP platforms to build unified customer views and journeys.
  • Experience with templating languages for dynamic content personalization.
  • Excellent documentation, user story writing and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bilingual written and spoken is an asset and beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Own in-platform configuration and orchestration to build cross-channel journeys.
  • Ensure journeys are optimized for performance, scalability, and personalization.
  • Maintain documentation of journeys, workflows and logic.
  • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues and implement fixes.
  • Provide training and onboarding to teams and ensure governance.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Manager, Product Martech, the MarTech Operations Lead is responsible for driving the operational excellence and day-to-day management of our marketing technology ecosystem. This role sits at the heart of our CDP capability, ensuring our platform, processes, and activation journeys are well-designed, efficiently implemented, consistently optimized and deliver connected customer experiences. In addition to supporting platform operations, this role helps connect teams, tools and processes by enabling smooth workflows and promoting effective use of our platform. As a power user, this person will champion best practices, train internal teams, and reinforce privacy and governance to ensure secure, scalable, and high-quality use of our tool.

  • Own in-platform configuration and orchestration, building cross-channel customer journeys based on strategy defined with channel managers and marketing team.
  • Ensure journeys are optimized for performance, scalability, and personalization and that they do not overlap with other initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation of all journeys, workflows, and associated logic.
  • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes or enhancements as needed.
  • Build and maintain operational processes and best practices for all internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as power user, providing training, onboarding, and ongoing support to teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day platform administration, including access governance, user management, field and attribute configuration, naming conventions, and tagging frameworks.
  • Maintain data hygiene and alignment with governance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, automation, and standardization across the customer experience and Martech operations.
  • Support the product manager in gathering business requirements from channel managers and translate into technical requirements for either internal or vendor roadmaps.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Data, Operations and IT to ensure effective and timely delivery of various use cases.
  • Support compliance and data governance to ensure proper handling of customer data.
What You Bring To The Team
  • 3+ years years of experience in marketing technology CDP operations, or multi-channel marketing automation.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise marketing automation or CDP platforms to build unified customer views, advanced audience segmentation and cross-channel journeys.
  • Experience with templating languages (e.g. Jinja2, Liquid, or AMPscript) for dynamic content personalization and Regex
  • Excellence in documenting processes, writing user stories, and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Ability to train and guide non-technical users.
  • Experience with data models, field architecture (JSON), and integration between CDP, marketing automation and CRM systems, an asset
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks and Quebec and Canada privacy laws, an asset
  • Bilingual written and spoken
