Job summary

Aramark Canada is seeking a part-time Student Marketer to support campus dining marketing efforts. You will create social content, host events, and engage with students to promote dining programs and offers. This role requires strong communication and a creative, independent work style.

You’ll collaborate with the District Marketing Manager and site leadership to track campaigns, adjust strategies, and drive participation in promotions while representing the campus dining team with enthusiasm.

  • Host sample tables and promotional events to introduce students to new menu items and experiences.
  • Interact with students in a positive, professional manner to build excitement around campus dining."

  • Track marketing activities and provide updates on performance and engagement.
  • Share updates with site leadership and assist with planning campaigns and events.

Job Description

The Student Marketer is a part‑time campus‑based position responsible for supporting food service marketing initiatives, increasing student engagement, and promoting dining programs and special offers. This role serves as a liaison between campus dining operations and students by creating engaging social media content, hosting promotional events, and communicating marketing updates with site leadership and the District Marketing Manager (DMM).

Hours: Approximately 10–12 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update Instagram and other social media platforms with content related to campus food service initiatives, events, and special promotions.
  • Create engaging posts, stories, and other digital content that increases awareness and participation in dining programs.
  • Host sample tables and promotional events to introduce students to new menu items, products, and dining experiences.
  • Interact with students in a positive and professional manner to build excitement around campus dining offerings.
  • Communicate regularly with the District Marketing Manager (DMM) regarding upcoming marketing initiatives, campaigns, and promotional opportunities.
  • Track ongoing marketing activities and provide updates on campaign performance and student engagement.
  • Share marketing initiative updates and results with site leadership.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, special events, and promotional activities.
  • Gather student feedback and provide insights to help improve marketing efforts and dining experiences.
  • Represent campus dining services in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
