Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager plays a vital role in leading marketing initiatives across the enterprise. This position combines leading complex, high-visibility marketing initiatives with hands‑on execution to support our marketing strategies. The ideal candidate brings deep technical marketing expertise and the ability to manage multiple projects while working collaboratively across teams. This role is integral to the TMX Group Enterprise Marketing team's mission of delivering strategic and client‑centric marketing solutions.

Key Accountabilities
Strategic Marketing Excellence
  • Develops sophisticated integrated marketing strategies aligned with business unit objectives
  • Provides subject matter expertise in digital marketing, content strategy and market analytics to stakeholders
  • Creates and optimizes awareness and demand‑generation campaigns across multiple channels
  • Monitors performance and metrics of all marketing initiatives, and makes data‑driven recommendations for optimization
Complex Project Leadership
  • Orchestrates high‑visibility marketing campaigns and events requiring cross‑functional coordination
  • Manages multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards and attention to detail
  • Drives project success through stakeholder alignment and effective communication
Strategic Business Partnership
  • Acts as a strategic marketing advisor to business units, driving marketing excellence and business growth through expertise and influence
  • Builds and maintains trusted relationships across functions including Technology, Legal and External Partners
  • Aligns multiple stakeholders around marketing strategies and execution plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 6+ years of progressive marketing experience within financial services
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex, cross‑functional marketing initiatives
  • Expert knowledge of integrated marketing, digital platforms and marketing technologies
  • Strong strategic thinking with exceptional relationship‑building and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Deep understanding of capital markets and financial services
Nice to Have
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Knowledge and experience in paid media execution and industry advertising channels

This role is hybrid (2 - 3 days/week in the office) - based in Toronto, ON.

Salary Range: $40 - $45/hour CAD
